December 3, 2017

The festivities opened with the Monk Montgomery New Generation Trio.  Joe Darro, Rick Vittallo and Jimmy Racey provided music for the event and shared the stage with our Member Artists.  Four gift baskets were awarded and the finale(s) were two delightful renditions of “The 12 Days of Christmas” led by our comedic treasure, Pete Barbutti.

Spring Extravaganza – June 10, 2018

There was something for everyone at this event – a saxophone swap, vintage musical memorabilia, yummy food and drink, and a jazz jam featuring the Shawn Whitmer Quartet and guests.

The 42nd Annual LVJS Jazz Picnic was held on October 20th, 2019.  Here are some of Sheila Wingfield’s pix from that   day.

The LVJS Holiday Party was held on December 15, 2019 at the Bootlegger Bistro.  The Joe Darro Quartet (Joe Darro, Gary Anderson, Chris Gordan and Bob Chmel) provided musical entertainment and there was plenty of vocal talent in the house, too.  Our favorite MC/comic/jazzy guy, Pete Barbutti, led a merry band of revelers in the “12 Days of Christmas” and told us the tale of  “Artie Chokes 3 for $1.”
