Graceful. Passionate. Soulful. These are just a few words to describe Windy Karigianes and her unique brand of musical storytelling. An accomplished singer, songwriter, and self-pro- claimed visual abstract artist, Karigianes has had an affinity for the musical arts since the age of 11. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, she was exposed to music by her father who was a singer, songwriter and guitarist out of Chicago, Illinois. Aside from her father Jimmy K, Windy was influenced by a musically diverse group of entertainers, which includes the likes of artists such as Elvis Presley, Luther Vandross, Nancy Wilson, and Pat Benatar. Windy cut her musical teeth singing professionally at the age of 16 in a jazz club at the top of the Mint Hotel in Downtown Las Vegas and since then, she has performed in various places around the United States (New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco) France and Japan.
